anything worth having is worth struggling for, and life is just a collection of experiences and stories.
But, if every struggle leads only to more struggle, the struggle becomes pointless. I might not have said so years ago, but I've seen a lot of experiences and they teach you things. Some of what you learn from experience makes philosophy and just talk. Enough experience teaches you that life is about more than bouncing from one experience to the next.
At 19, all I wanted from life was to learn, to teach, and to feel. At 25, I wanted to give the world my art, my words, and anything my humble hands could build. At 28, I wanted to make my husband happy. At 30, I don't ask that my friends and family be resurected on the spot, I don't ask for my ex-husband to suddenly value me. All that stuff is in the past and at least I learned from it all. Maybe I would ask for a healthier brain. I would ask for that before I'd ask for a healthy body. I would ask for friendship. I would ask to feel like my existence in this world is of some value. Are those so much to ask? The last one, especially. The last one is fair to ask for.
I don't want to get lost. I've been lost for 30 years. It's overrated and is a fool's journey.

Uhh, actually my dad taught me too, but he wasn't an underdog...
He said:

"Life isn't fair, actually, but you can win the day if you tried."

...actually my dad is a dropout from 1st year of a high, and got married to my mon at 21. Then I was born - honestly to say, it was shotgun marriage...and YES, my dad was kinda punk or outcast when he was a teenager. But I love my parents. They taught me a lot rather than other normal parents. And I must say, my family's all geeks or nerds...most of them are festive-type, just like me...!

My father dropped out of high-school too. He has and IQ of around 145 and is ridiculously intelligent. I learned a lot from my father. My family are all fun eccentric nerds too.

Terrible!! ... :D
My dad is kinda such man - love to study trivias/small wisdoms with fun. Last night he asked me and my mom, "Hey, you 2 can tell the differences of sausabes?...*grin* Bologna, Vienna, or whatever. Answer it :9!"
...we can't beat him. I've never heard of those sausage facts!! Mom answered, "...Sizes of intestines?!...Jackets of them." (LOL!)Yes, we're all strange!! I think my Bro + Mom in the same kinda type , +unfortunately, Dad and me quite alike in its personality or tastes!
...we 3 can't eat raw fish & wasabi, the last member is Yuki... :)
