Music

A reason
to tap my toe
while soaking up sunshine
in a rusted lawn-chair…
background music
to make
life’s routines
seem like poetry.
Strum some movement
into the still air,
like laughter
crumbling clouds of
stale silence into confetti.
Tickle the walls
with chords and melody
until they glow, vibrant.
Bring this house
to life
with music.

I was beginning to worry... good to see you back.
"crumbling clouds of
stale silence into confetti."
You captured the event well - I've experienced it so many times. The first few moments of music are like the first bite of a meal. I love that sensation.
This one is good.

Don't we all want "to make
life’s routines seem like poetry"? To turn lead into gold, as it were?

Welcome back!

Nice team-mates, poets are great. I'll re-read my favorites later on: you composers inspired my hidden fancy for litereture & poetry :) I used to learn it.

I love this one. Remember while back when you were asking for fav's? Well, this one...though maybe not the best in other eyes, really makes sense to me.

Then again...I'm a music whore....

You've helped me redeem what could have been a bad day. Cheers.
