Downhill trails may not strain us
(Without a sweat, you can fly free and run)
But no matter how far down you travel,
will never lead you to the sun.
Don’t commit your life to your whims.
Nor pummel yourself for your sins.
Still, whatever path you deem the best,
I’m with you till the end.
Whichever is your roadway to the sun,
I’ll climb with you as you go.
Just be strong and please choose wisely,
Many hearts your steps do tow.

Love is not for quitters
Life aint for the weak.
Existing is no life, if you hide from it;
both the bitter with the sweet.
What you must do, only you know.
At the “whys” I can only guess,
But be strong and, whatever path you run,
Choose not the smoothest, but the best.
We are all too weak for perfection.
Who’ll save you from you, or me from me?
But be sure the path you travel
Brings out the best that you can be.
The groves that take less tending
Quickly turn from sweetness to pain.
Those that make you sweeter, yourself,
